Statement of Compliance of A Port Facility

Statement of Compliance of A Port Facility is an amendment to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS,1974) for the minimum security standards for vessels, ports and authorities of countries where ports are situated. It establishes the responsibilities of authorities of countries where ports are situated, shipowners, the crew of ships and port/facility operators to detect security threats and take appropriate preventive measures to prevent security incidents that may affect ships or port facilities involved in international trade.
